specifications/applications and sub-specialty opportunities?

MUMPS are launching a Paediatric Careers Mentorship program – aimed to connect paediatric
ST1-8 trainees in Northwest England with students and foundation doctors.
Our goal is to provide future paediatricians access from an early stage to guidance and resources
that will help them shape their training and career objectives. We will try to match students with
mentors based on their personal and academic interests to foster mutually beneficial working
relationships. We hope to encourage information sharing, as well as connecting you into research
and outreach opportunities – giving you the right tools to help develop your paediatric career.

W H A T   W E   W I L L   P R O V I D E   M E N T E E S   W I T H :

 

-You will be assigned a mentor that is a current ST1-8 paediatric trainee in NW England,
interested in sharing their experience, advice and opportunities. We will match you to a
mentor based on the interests you provide.
- We will provide contact details and open discussion with your mentor. We will then leave it
to you to contact them as needed for guidance or support.
- We will host a number of social events over the year where you can meet and engage with
other paediatric-inclined students, foundation doctors and paediatric trainees
